Doris Turner, retired art teacher from District 3 in Spartanburg, was the happy recipient of the People's Choice Award in CAVA's previous exhibit, "With a Song." Her mixed media painting was an interactive piece based on the tune, "Sing a Song of Six Pence." Visitors enjoyed lifting the pie image (seen in the photo) and releasing a lot of birds! The work was on view at the Gaffney Visitors Center and Art Gallery.
